Temple Emanuel Pre-School

Temple Emanuel Early Childhood Center is a full-time, year-round program, serving children ages 2 -5.  It is open from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday.  Their Reggio inspired philosophy reflects our deep belief that children are capable and competent and learn best in a rich environment that focuses on the interweaving of cognitive and creative ways of learning.   They are proud of their strong community of children, families and staff.

They are truly committed to working in partnership with you and your child to provide for the highest quality Jewish earlychildhood experience.

Washington Hebrew Congregation RJWECC

Washington Hebrew Congregation RJWECC  offers varied programs for toddlers-kindergarten.  The pre-school program begins at 9:15 a.m. and kindergarten begins at 9:00 a.m. Early Drop off begins at 8:30 a.m. and enrichment is offered from 11:45 a.m.- 2:00 p.m. A summer program is available.

Washington Hebrew Congregation RJWECC describes itself as a school that provides a nurturing, developmentally appropriate program and treats each child as an individual.

Class Schedule:

Infants/Toddlers         Tuesdays or Thursdays, 9:15-10:45am, no lunch

2s        Monday/Wednesday/Friday, 9:15-11:45am, lunch offered Mondays and Wednesdays till 12:30pm

3s        Monday-Friday, 9:15-11:45am, enrichment (includes lunch) 11:45-2:00pm offered daily

Tikvat Israel Broadman-Kaplan Early Childhood Center

Broadman-Kaplan Early Childhood Center at Tikvat Israel offers varied programs beginning at 18 months- 5 years.  The regular program day is from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. with Early Drop Off beginning at 7:00 a.m. and Aftercare until 6:00 p.m.  It offers a full day program and day care from 7:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Monday-Friday.  A Summer program is available.

 Broadman-Kaplan Early Childhood Center at  Tikvat Israel describes its' goal to provide a high quality, developmentally appropriate, Jewish early childhood program that is consistent with the way young children learn, safe and stimulating, positive and enjoyable regarding Jewish experiences and observance, and effective in establishing open and beneficial relationships between parents and staff.

Class schedule is: 

2s Starting at 18month Monday-Friday 7:00am-6:00pm. Children bring own dairy lunch

Temple Rodef Shalom Nursery School

Temple Rodef Shalom Nursery School offers varied programs for 2-5 year olds including morning programs and extended day programs Monday - Friday from 9:15 a.m.-2:15 p.m. There is no early drop off or aftercare. There is a summer camp program available.

Temple Rodef Shalom Nursery School describes itself as a joyful and nurturing learning environment committed to meeting each child’s unique developmental needs, honoring traditions and exploring our heritage, and emphasizing extensive, interactive, and diverse play experiences to promote the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of each child.

Class options are:

2s 2 day 2s (Tue-Thur, 9:15 – 12:15), 3 day 2s (MWF, 9:15 -12:15), 5 day 2s (MTWThF, 9:15-12:15).  No lunch option

Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia Early Childhood Services

JCCNV offers varied programming between 9:00 a. m. and 1:00 p.m. with Early Drop Off beginning at 7:30 a.m.; Enrichment until 2:30 p.m. and Day care until 4:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m. with a minimum 2 day per week commitment.

JCCNV Early Childhood Services describes itself as an environment for children, emphasizing joyful Jewish experiences and values, and a connection to the community as we strive to help each child grow as an individual.

Our programs include:

Infants/Toddlers     6weeks-2 years full day full time program only

2s 2 years by September 30th of current school year; 2 day (T,TH), 3 day (M,W,F) or 5 day (M-F) options; Preschool is 9am-1pm

3s  3 years by September 30th of current school year; 3 day (M,W,F) or 5 day (M-F) options; Preschool is 9am-1pm

Har Shalom Early Childhood Education Center

 

Har Shalom ECEC offers varied programs for 2-4 year olds including morning and full day programs.  Early Drop off begins at 7:30 a.m.and Afercare runs M-Th until 6:00 p.m. and Friday until 5:00 p.m.

Har Shalom Early Childhood Education Center describes itself as  a child-centered and play-centered preschool. We believe that children are capable learners and follow their interests with regard to the subjects that are being taught in school.  

Class Schedule is:

Infants– a free play group for infants and their significant adults, Mondays 9:30-11:30am

Toddlers– English Parent Toddler, Thursdays 9:30-11:00am

                Hebrew Parent and Child, Tuesdays 10:00-10:45am

B'nai Tzedek's Laura and Joel Greenzaid Early Childhood Center

GECC has a varied Early Childhood program for babies -5 year olds.  Class hours are from 9:15 a.m.-12:30 p.m. with Early Drop Off at 8:00 a.m. and Aftercare and Enrichment until 3:00 p.m.

GECC describes itself as an innovative, inquiry and play based early childhood center that nurtures the physical, social, emotional, and spiritual development of our children.

Our programs include:

Infants/Toddlers

Babies @ Play Fridays, Sept-May 11:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m.

Play and Learn, Fridays, Sept-May, 9:15 a.m.-10:45 a.m.

Drop In and Play Family Center, Mondays and Thursdays, 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., $10 per visit

2s two day transitional twos Tues and Thurs  9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Sept- Dec with an adult, Jan-June 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. without an adult and includes lunch.

Beth Sholom Early Childhood Center

Beth Sholom Early Childhood Center describes itself as an Orthodox, play-based, eco-minded pre-school and Kindergarten with full day and half day programs beginning at 9:15 a.m. & ending at 2:00 p.m.  Early Drop off is available at 8:15 a.m. Aftercare is available Monday - Friday from 2:00-6:00 p.m.

Beth Sholom ECC offers the following programs:

Infants/Toddlers  18 mos – 24 mos – 5 day/3 day/2 day options M-F 9:15a.m. – 12:30 p.m. 

2s 3/day 5/day options 9:15 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

3s Regular and Hebrew Immersion classes 9:15 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

4s Regular and Hebrew Immersion classes 9:15 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

5s Kindergarten 9:15 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

The Agudas Achim Pre-School

The Agudas Achim Pre-School offers varied programs for 2-5 year olds. Morning and Extended day programs available 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Early Drop off from 7:30-9:00 a.m. Aftercare from 4:00-5:30 p.m.

The Agudas Achim Preschool describes itself as a…safe, nurturing Jewish program that supports the growth of children through a developmentally appropriate curriculum.

The options by age are:

2s  2-day (T/Th), 3-day (M/W/F) and 5-day (M-F) from 9:00 to 1:00 with optional afternoons (1:00 to 4:00). 

3s 4-day (M/T/Th/F) and 5-day (M-F) from 9:00 to 1:00 with optional afternoons (1:00 to 4:00) 

4s 5-day from 9:00 to 1:00 with optional afternoons (1:00 to 4:00) 

Summer program available

Congregation Adat Reyim Pre-School

Adat Reyim's Pre-School offers varying programs for toddlers- five year olds. 

21 months/2 yr olds - Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday, or any configuration of the days.

3 Year Olds - Monday/Wednesday/Friday with an optional Thursday.

4 Year Olds - Tuesday through Friday

5 Year Olds-Monday through Friday.

Enrichment is available for 2-5 year olds on Mondays and Wednesdays.  There is a summer camp available as well. 

Adat Reyim is Licensed by the state with a Religious Exemption
