Bring parve lunch—drinks provided. Join in a stimulating series of programs presented with the Foundation for Jewish Studies as area rabbis and educators share their knowledge in this lunchtime series of Bible study. No prior Bible knowledge is necessary; just bring a Bible and an interest in learning. Save by registering for all sessions at the same time. Complete the registration form on this page and return it with payment to the Foundation for Jewish Studies.
Conversational Hebrew instruction is offered on Sundays and evenings at the JCCNV. Textbooks are available for purchase at the first class. Minimum registration of four students is required. Contact Carla Rosenfeld at (703) 537-3060 • CarlaR@jccnv.org for information.
JCC of Greater Washington Lifelong Learning
The JCC of Greater Washington offers college-level classes, exercise programs, lectures, a premier social action program (Seniors Organized for Change), programs and counseling/referrals for the visually impaired, kosher lunches, opportunities for volunteering, Jewish holiday celebrations including a model Passover seder, and much more.

Beth El Hebrew Cong - Adult Ed Classes
Weekly and Monthly classes
- Each Wednesday when religious school meets, Adult Study meets at 7:00 pm
- Each Saturday, Torah Study meets on the week's Torah portion, starting at 9:00 am
- Each Sunday, Adult Hebrew classes (which begin again in the fall) meet at 10:00 am (beginner and intermediate) and at 11:00 am (advanced)

- On the first Thursday each month: Lunch with the Clergy - Bring your lunch and learn about Jewish responses as varied as this week's portion and today's headlines
- On the third Thursday each month, Interfaith Bible Study with Christ Church meets at 7:30 pm
- Women of Reform Judaism (WRJ) sponsors a monthly Hot Coffee/Hot Topics discussion at 10:00 am

Behrend Adas Senior Lunch Fellowship

If you are a senior who would like to expand your circle of friends, please join us. Adas Israel and our Sisterhood, in partnership with the Jewish Council on the Aging, and the Washington DCJCC, offers a hot lunch and programs for seniors each weekday. These daily programs are for D.C. residents aged 60 and over.
Hebrew Language Classes
Learn Hebrew in a supportive and fun environment through conversation, reading, writing and more. Ulpan Ben Yehuda conversational Hebrew and prayerbook Hebrew are offered in small classes, in both daytime and evening, from the very beginner (Aleph level) to the most advanced (Hay level).

One of our most popular series, the Lunch & Learn study groups devote 4 weekly sessions to a specific book of the Bible or a topic that runs through more than one book. Classes are led by local rabbis and scholars, in three locations: Bethesda, Downtown Washington, and Northern Virginia. Bring a Bible and a brown bag dairy or pareve lunch. We supply the coffee and tea!
